Six FSCJ advisors doing their jobs—live on TV!

An opportunity to staff a live-on-camera phone bank answering questions on how to pay for college got a quick response from dedicated FSCJ student services professionals.
By Michael Corby Thu, May 23, 2013 9:45 am EDT

On First Coast News, from 5 until 6:30 p.m., six of our dedicated and adventurous Florida State College at Jacksonville front-line Student Experience and Welcome Center professionals staffed the live phone bank at First Coast news answering callers questions on “How to pay for college.”  Kudos toDirector of Recruitment  Kevin Cotton for helping to recruit our experts; and to Jane Patton, Roben Faircloth, Robin Grace, Sharon McCarthy, Matt Wetzel and Ashley Knight for reaching out a helping hand to the community in planning how to fund their—or their youngsters’—educations. This opportunity to get their questions answered was perhaps just the impetus someone out there needed to decide they can get the education they want or need to achieve their career dreams.

Thanks again for a job well done to:

Jane Patton and Matt Wetzel: Student Experience Advisors

Sharon McCarthy: Advisor I

Robin Grace: Student Success Advisor

Roben Faircloth: Enrollment Development Coordinator

Ashley Knight: Project Coordinator

Kevin Cotton: Director Student Recruitment & Enrollment
