FSCJ Artist Series Lineup Offers Singing, Dancing, Comedy and More

Celebrating its 50th season, the FSCJ Artist Series’ 2015-16 lineup ranges from Broadway in Jacksonville premieres to holiday shows to international dance productions, with more than 75 performances coming to the Times-Union Center downtown and the Wilson Center for the Arts on FSCJ’s South Campus.

The Broadway Series features something for everyone, beginning with “Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical,” everyone’s favorite Christmas story, playing from Dec. 1-6. The song and dance fable on Broadway, “42nd Street,” plays from Jan. 12-17. The spectacular new rendition of “The Phantom of the Opera,” the story you love, but reimagined bigger and better than ever before, runs from Feb. 10-21. Rounding out the season from April 19-24 is “Motown The Musical,” the explosive new hit musical, featuring more than 40 of the most beloved Motown Classics. All Broadway shows play at the Times-Union Center’s Moran Theater.

Mark your calendars for these other shows coming up this fall at the Times-Union Center:

Alvin and the Chipmunks on Oct. 17;
So You Think You Can Dance, featuring the Top 10 finalists from Season 12 on Oct. 21;
Veggie Tales Live! on Nov. 20;
An Irish Christmas, on Dec. 21; and
