An Out of This World Educational Experience!

It’s a benefit of social media and networking. It’s the NASA Tweetup! NASA recently held a contest on Twitter for the ultimate shuttle experience. These are opportunities that are literally once in a lifetime things.” ~Carson Skinner

Out of 10,000 entries Carson Skinner, a Jacksonville native, was selected for the launch of Shuttle Endeavour. He, along with 149 other space geeks, got to meet astronauts, tour the grounds of Kennedy Space Center, and watch Endeavours lift off from the press site. Everything that Carson and the other tweeters did was all retweeted back to Twitter. The experience offered an educational opportunity for those on site and online.

I sat down with Carson and talked about his time at the NASA Tweetup. Take a look at the video to learn more about his unique time at ‘space camp’. Also, check out all of Carson's pictures on our Facebook Page. (While you are there, it wouldn't hurt to 'like' it either)
