The digital teamwork expert will discuss the signals that have replaced traditional body language.
The Florida State College at Jacksonville Business Speaker Series event, “Digital Body Language: Collaborate Faster and Further, Together,” is 9 a.m. April 14 at the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts at FSCJ’s South Campus.
The presenter is collaboration and teamwork expert Erica Dhawan, who will discuss combining research with storytelling to decode the new signals and cues that have replaced traditional body language across genders, generations and cultures.
Dhawan, a graduate of Harvard University and The Wharton School, is the author of “Digital Body Language,” a Wall Street Journal bestseller, and has been called the “Oprah of Management Thinkers” by Thinkers50. Global Gurus named her one of the top 20 management experts around the world.
She also is the founder and CEO of Cotential, a global organization that helps companies, leaders and managers leverage 21st-century collaboration skills and behaviors to improve performance.
The public is invited to attend the free in-person event. Breakfast will be provided.
