FSCJ's Baseball team finished an incredible 2022 season with a third-place finish at the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, Oklahoma. FSCJ went 3-2 at the national tournament, beating Phoenix College, Lansing Community College and losing to the eventual national champion, Pearl River Community College.
This team certainly left its mark in Enid, earning the team sportsmanship award and becoming the "fan favorite," as donned by the local media.
From this team, three players were named to the All-Conference/All-Region team, seventeen sophomores will be moving on to universities to continue their careers, while a core group of freshman will return next year looking to repeat a World Series appearance.
In the most successful season since 2000, this year's FSCJ Baseball team claimed the Region 8 Championship, the South Atlantic District Championship and advanced to the program's fourth World Series appearance. The final record for the 2021-22 team was 33-21.
