Online Degree Programs (Associates and Bachelors)

If you are interested in completing your entire program online, this may be the option for you. With this option, you will complete your first two or three years online with Florida State College and then transfer to a college/university with whom Florida State College has a transfer agreement and complete your bachelors degree online.

This search option provides a list of the articulation agreements that provide Florida State College students the opportunity to complete the associates and bachelors degrees via distance learning. Florida State College students can complete a bachelors degree without leaving home. Tips on transferring to a college without an articulation agreement

Florida State College at Jacksonville is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) so many of Florida State College at Jacksonville courses should transfer to colleges and universities across the United States. However, it is up to each individual school to decide what courses they will and won't accept, especially if you transfer to a school outside of the state of Florida. If you are interested in transferring to an institution that Florida State College at Jacksonville does not have an articulation agreement with , the first step would be to contact that school. The Admissions or Registrar staff should be able to tell you about their transfer policy. They may ask to see a copy of Florida State College at Jacksonville's course descriptions to get an idea about the course. Florida State College's catalog is available on-line so the school can easily reference course information. Once you complete the courses you would need to request an official copy of your Florida State College at Jacksonville transcript.

  • Capella University offers a 10% discount to Florida State College employees. The 10% discount extends to full time and part time Florida State College employees and is awarded to all Florida State College faculty, staff, alumni, regardless of degree (bachelors, masters, doctorate). The discount applies to all courses in the degree program.
  • Nova Southeastern University Fischler School of Education offers Florida State College staff, faculty and administrators a tuition grant of 15% for any of their Master’s, Educational Specialist and Doctoral Programs.
  • Nova Southeastern University Fischler School of Education also offers Florida State College students that graduate with an A.A. degree in education and follow one of the articulation agreements for Elementary Education or Exceptional Student Education for 2 + 2 programs, a tuition grant of 15% upon entering either of the above programs
  • Franklin University offers a free Online Learning Strategies course to Florida State College employees.
  • Northcentral University offers a 10% discount to Florida State College employees and recent graduates.
  • Regis University offers a 10% discount to full-time Florida State College employees.
