A.A. Degree Emphasizing Education
If you feel the calling to be a classroom teacher, you’ll get a great start with an associate in arts degree for transfer to a public university. We have a new articulation agreement with Jacksonville University, the University of North Florida and Nova Southeastern University, as well as other schools, for A.A. graduates to earn a bachelor’s degree in Education. See your advisor for details. You can also learn more at our Transfer Services page.
Field Experience - for current education students. Part of your training will be field experience, working in a classroom in the K-12 public school system. This link will take you to important information and forms you’ll need as part of the process. Note: Most of these forms are PDF files and require the Adobe Acrobat Reader (which can be downloaded for free at Adobe.com).
