Summer Camps 2012
We will be offering several exciting and enriching summer camps at all of our campuses
across Jacksonville and Nassau County. Our sports camps have been popular in North Florida for years, but theres so much more than sports! Camp information will continue as we add new camps, so come back often.

Aerospace Adventures High School Summer Youth Program
Cecil Center South — Aviation Center of Excellence, 13450 Lake Fretwell Street, Jacksonville, FL 32221
Aerospace Adventures High School Summer Youth Program is a six-day interactive experience that will provide eight (8) high-school students with exposure to authentic aviation learning experiences. This exciting youth summer program will be offered at Florida State College at Jacksonville's Aviation Center of Excellence and will be implemented by professional certified flight instructors.
The program is designed as an introductory course to airplanes, aerodynamic principles of flight, airplanes systems, air traffic control, airport operations, radio communication, weather, and flight planning. Students will have real-world application through flight simulation, weather briefings, planning a flight, and experience flying a segment of their planned flight in a Cessna. The program is designed to inspire students to pursue their pilot certificate.
This Aerospace Adventures High School Summer Youth Program is ideal for students with an interest in aviation and high-tech careers. The program is hosted by the Florida State College at Jacksonville Aviation Center of Excellence, Sunrise Aviation, and the Aerospace Resource Center.

Aerospace Adventures Middle School Summer Youth Program is a six-day interactive experience that will provide 20 middle-school students with exposure to authentic aviation learning experiences. This exciting youth summer program will be offered at Florida State College at Jacksonville's Aviation Center of Excellence and will be implemented by professional certified flight instructors and classroom teachers.
The program is designed as an introductory course to airplanes, the airport environment, weather, aircraft maintenance, astronomy, the aerospace industry, unmanned aircraft, air traffic control, and careers. Students will have real-world application through flight simulation and visiting an air traffic control tower. The program is designed to inspire students to pursue a career in aviation or aerospace.

Camp Broadway
Wilson Center for the Arts, 11901 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32246
Workshops in singing, dancing and acting. Campers work together to perform ensemble pieces at the finale on Friday. Camp taught by Broadway theater professionals from New York.

High School Summer Musical Theatre Experience
Wilson Center for the Arts, 11901 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32246
The Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts and The Artist Series are proud to present the High School Summer Musical Theatre Experience, which provides the opportunity for local area high school students to work hands-on with some of the highest recognized local and regional theatre professionals at the Wilson Center for the Arts. This year, participants will perform Peter Pan from July 27th – August 5th at the Wilson Center for the Arts on Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus.
Free auditions will be held on April 28th and 29th at the Wilson Center for the Arts. Auditions are open to current 7th - 12th grade students in Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau and outer lying counties. Participants should only attend one audition date.

Campers will participate in archery, canoeing, environmental education, arts and crafts, drama, team building, rock climbing, overnights, ourdoor living skills and general sports. Day campers must provide their own lunch.
