College Goal Sunday
Don't miss this financial aid event designed to assist high school seniors and their families with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Professional financial aid staff and counselors will be on hand to offer free help in all aspects of the application process.Students also have a chance to win thousands of dollars in scholarships, contributed by University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, Edward Waters College and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Prospective students and their parents or guardians are invited.

What should I bring to College Goal Sunday?
In order to complete your FAFSA, parents and students should bring the following:
- Social Security number, drivers license or alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- 2011 IRS 1040 or latest tax return and W-2 statements
- Untaxed yearly income statement for 2011, such as Social Security benefits, Temporary Assistance to Needy Students, welfare and non-educational veterans benefits
- Federal Student Aid PIN (Dont have one? Sign up for one at Federal Student Aid PIN.)
What if I don't have the required documents? You can bring last year's (2010) tax returns and W-2 statements (parent and student) or 2011 year-end pay stubs to estimate your income.

Real $ense Prosperity Campaign will prepare 2011 income tax returns in advance of College Goal Sunday for qualifying families, as well as offer tax preparation assistance the day of the event in Jacksonville.
