Graduation and Commencement

If all goes as planned, it won’t be long until you are ready to graduate. Each term students who meet all graduation requirements for any degree (or program) at the end of each term will be automatically graduated.

Spring Term 2012

(Jan. 9, 2012 - May 4, 2012)

Students are responsible for determining that all graduation requirements are complete and have no outstanding financial obligation to the college.
Students must have registered for all classes that are needed to complete graduation requirements by the ‘Last Registration Day’ of C8 session, March 11, 2012.
Email will be sent during the week of March 12, 2012 to students who have been identified as “potential term graduates.”*
To assure that students have met the academic requirements, it is highly recommended you log in to Connections, and under the “My Alerts” tab, select “My Programs of Study/Degree Audit,” and display the correct degree audit (Program Name). If the “Graduation Status Message” states that you may not graduate, see an academic adviser for assistance.
Students who meet graduation requirements at the end of each term will be automatically graduated.
Note: Completion of graduation takes approximately 10 working days.
The degree message will be reflected on students’ transcript by May 18, 2012.
Diplomas will be mailed to students within six to eight weeks of May 18, 2012.

*Caps and gowns will be available for purchase on April 1, 2012 in the campus/center bookstores. Graduates from Summer and Fall 2011 and Candidates for Spring 2012 will receive a letter and email with detailed information about the commencement ceremony.
