Aaron Michael Lepianka Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled at least part time in the Professional Pilot Technology Program, apply for financial aid using the FAFSA and demonstrate a financial need, and submit a copy of their transcript and have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA. Applicant must also submit a brief statement about "Why this Scholarship is Important". Air Force Association “Student of Promise” Scholarship
Applicant must be a recent high school graduate or have a High School Equivalency Certification with conspicuous mechanical aptitude who did not qualify for Florida’s Bright Futures scholarship. Applicant must be currently enrolled in the Aircraft Airframe or Power Plant Mechanics Program, apply for financial aid using the FAFSA, and submit two letters of recommendation. Apply Now!
Automotive CATT Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled in the Automotive, Diesel or Collision Repair program. Students must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and students in need of remediation must enroll and make substantial progress in appropriate vocational or college preparatory courses. Byron Craig Sessions Scholarship
Applicants must be a single black male between the ages of 17 to 25 years old and be a high school graduate. Students must enroll full time in their first term at Florida State College at Jacksonville and maintain a 2.0 GPA. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation (preferably from a high school counselor, instructor, an employer, or minister of your church). Apply Now!
Captain Robert C. Sorensen Endowed Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled at least part time in the fire science program, complete the FAFSA, and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must also provide two letters of recommendation. Apply Now!
Center Academy Jacksonville Scholarship Fund
Applicant must apply for financial aid using the FAFSA and demonstrate a financial need. Applicant must have and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and be enrolled at least part time. Applicant must have graduated from or attended the Jacksonville Beaches location of Center Academy for at least one school year (two full semesters) and have been in good standing upon leaving the school. Child Care Scholarship
Scholarships are available to assist students with child care expenses at the on-site Chappell Child Care Centers.

Requirements:

  • Must have children under the age of 5
  • Must demonstrate a financial need

Downtown Campus Student Life and Leadership Development Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled at least part time with 50% of their courses at Downtown Campus, have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and be able to commit to at least 5 to 10 volunteer hours to the student activities office weekly. Students must also submit a detailed list of all community service and extracurricular activities and a one page resume detailing their office experience and knowledge. Apply Now!
General Academic – Part-time
Part-time students who have a minimum 3.0 GPA on all attempted course work may apply for this scholarship. Recipients must be enrolled in at least six credit hours and may not exceed eleven credit hours. Student must file a FAFSA, complete the financial aid process, and demonstrate a need. Apply Now!
James S. Page Governmental Scholarship
Applicant must be a graduate of the Nassau County School District and enroll full time in the discipline of political science, public administration, or business administration. Student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and have completed at least 24 hours at Florida State College at Jacksonville. A letter of recommendation from a Florida State College at Jacksonville faculty member is required along with an essay outlining current community involvement, why the applicant is interested in this scholarship and the applicant's future plans for elected or public service. Lyle Rhines Scholarship
Applicant must be A.S. degree seeking in the Entertainment Technology Program, have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Entertainment Technology faculty administering the award and show strong potential for a successful career as a Theatre Technician as determined by the Entertainment Technology faculty administering the award. Students with potential of becoming members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Employees will be given first priority. Apply Now!
National Science Foundation Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll at least 7 hours in the Biotechnology Laboratory Program, apply for financial aid using the FAFSA, and submit a copy of all official transcripts. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and submit a personal essay (maximum one page) describing his/her career goals. Applicant must be a US citizen, national, refugee, alien, or permanent alien at the time of application as well as a Florida resident. Applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or university/college faculty member. Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in Biotechnology classes. Practical Nursing Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled full time in Practical Nursing I or Practical Nursing II and have an overall average of 90% or higher in class work. Ride for Pride Wounded Warrior Project Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled at least part time (6 hours) in a degree or certificate program, apply for financial aid using the FAFSA, and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must also be in good standing as a constituent of the Wounded Warrior Project, Inc. programs and services and eligible for college classes. A letter is required from Wounded Warrior Project's Director of Educational Services to formally verify eligibility of the warriors and their families' participation in Wounded Warrior Project ("WWP"). Robert and Winette Odom Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled at least part time in a career/technical course of study offered at the Lewis "Red" Bean Nassau Technical Center. Applicant must apply for financial aid using the FAFSA and demonstrate a need. Applicant must have a high school diploma or have a High School Equivalency Certification and submit TABE scores of 7.0 or higher in Math, Reading, and Language. Students with TABE scores between 7.0 and 9.0 must be enrolled in appropriate VPI courses.
