Placement Testing
All new Florida State College students are required to take a college placement test.
Students who live within the First Coast (Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, and Union Counties) are required to take the placement test at a Florida State College campus. Contact the most conveniently located Florida State College campus assessment center to schedule the exams. To schedule your placement test, make a testing appointment.
Remote students should send an email to assessme@fscj.edu requesting information on taking the college placement test as a remote student. You will receive a reply to your email request within one business day. You may also call (904) 632-5004 for assistance.
