Associate in Arts Degree - Designed for students who plan to complete their freshman and sophomore years of college at Florida State College and then transfer as juniors to four-year colleges or universities. Students in this program primarily take general education requirements including English, mathematics, humanities, natural and physical sciences, and social environment courses, such as history and political science.

Associate in Science Degrees - Career and technical education programs designed to allow students to immediately pursue careers that require a college degree at the professional level. Students in these programs take at least 15 hours of general education courses, with the majority of their coursework taken in professional courses related to their major. Kent Campus also provides vocational and technical certificate programs.
We understand that there are as many ways to achieve educational goals as there are students! We encourage you to choose whatever approach will fit best with the other demands on your time and we will do whatever we can to help you succeed! Among our many options are evening or weekend classroom study, short-term courses and/or Internet instruction.
The Career Education Division also offers selected courses in continuing education. Continuing education assists you in keeping pace with the changing world, whether it is training to maintain a certification or licensure, to enhance or upgrade your skills for your current job or to retrain for another job. We offer a variety of programs and certifications all designed to help you succeed.
