For more than 40 years, Florida State College has been a leader in education — and in helping students of all ages live their dreams. Now, with the opening of The Cecil Center, those dreams are closer than ever for residents of the Westside, Baldwin, Maxville, Orange Park and Middleburg. Offering a wide range of programs, we are proud to bring new opportunities to more people than ever before.

Classes Designed for the Way You Live
The Cecil Center offers a flexible program of day and evening classes, making it easy for you to take the classes you need to turn your plans and dreams into reality. It’s ideal for both traditional students and working adults.
The Cecil Center is comprised of two convenient locations.
- Cecil Center North is located on the Westside of Jacksonville. It boasts a full schedule of courses and activities.
- Cecil Center South — Aviation Center of Excellence (ACE) is at the Cecil Airport. The majority of courses here are focused on aviation, but general education programs are offered as well.
