Facilities

The Advanced Technology Center provides highly flexible training space which can be adapted for your unique training needs.

Signature facility attributes include the following:

Smart seminar room for as many as 50 participants in tiered, stadium seating. The seminar room features full teleconferencing capabilities; data lines for each work station, complete multimedia resources in an acoustically controlled environment, as well as analog, ISDN and CAT5 connectivity.

Video conference center featuring compressed interactive video conferencing with seating for up to 14 on-site participants and global connectivity capability.

Employer training space always reserved for and available on a fee basis to area employers. This space is dedicated exclusively to employer use for short-term, training programs and can be configured in multiple ways, seating up to 48 people.

Partnership training centers available to employers for exclusive sponsorship for sustained training use over longer period of time. As a partnership client (only three are available), the Center will be equipped to your specifications and your business name and logo will appear in association with the space. You’ll have priority access as well as partner recognition in various Center promotions. Partnership training centers can be configured in many ways and generally accommodating training groups of up to 25 participants. Security for proprietary equipment and materials will be available if required.

Flex labs available for lease to employers for intensive use over several weeks or months. Employers using either of the Center’s two flex labs can custom configure and equip the space to meet their training needs. Flex lab clients are granted exclusive use of the lab for the duration of the agreement. Configurations are highly adaptable but will generally serve training groups of up to 40 participants.

Specialized labs address specific areas of training expertise including: Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Electricity (featuring the College’s own water bottling plant), Cisco Advanced Training Academy, IP Telephony, Networking, Computer Repair and IP Telephony, Sun Microsystems, Solar Energy, Programmable Logic Control and Transportation Technology

General classrooms provide instructors with excellent presentation capabilities through a built-in multimedia infrastructure.

Dining space and break areas provide the requisite comforts of a training facility. Catering of training events may be arranged through the College’s culinary arts program, contract food service vendor, or a private caterer of your choice.

Lobby
This room works well for formal and informal small to mid-sized events (cocktail functions). This room is also adjacent to a large outdoor tree-lined patio that can accommodate banquet tables, additional seating, and/or a band. The Lobby can be used in conjunction with the Seminar Room for pre/post receptions. Amenities include access to a catering kitchen with refrigerator and sink. A stage and sound system are available.

This room has the capacity for 53 people in a four-tiered seminar style seating arrangement. It has a fully equipped presentation area with dual LCD projectors and screens, fully automated lighting and premium sound system. The seminar room can be used in conjunction with the Lobby for pre/post receptions.
