Florida State College athletes are reconized for their academic achievements
NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Awards
Congratulations to Chace Mitchell (baseball) and Lindsy Dugan (softball) who both earned the NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement, and to Cole Fuller (baseball) who earned the NJCAA Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement.
Criteria: Student-athletes must have a minimum of 45 semester hours. Superior Academic Achievvement is noted for student-athletes with a GPA of 3.80-3.99 and Exemplary Academic Achievement is noted for student-athletes with a GPA of 3.60-3.79.
FCSAA and Mid-Florida Conference Academic Awards
In addition to NJCAA Awards for Superior Academic Achievement, Chace MItchell and Lindsy Dugan both earned top FCSAA honors. Mitchell was named FCSAA Male Academic Athlete of the Year, BillTuten Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Mid-Florida Conference Academic Athlete of the Year (male). Dugan was named FCSAA Female Academic Athlete of the Year, Jean Williams Scholar-Athlete Award and Mid-Florida Conference Academic Athlete of the Year (female).
