Credit for Prior Learning

Florida State College recognizes the academic value that today's working adult has learned through experiences outside the classroom. Through the accelerated college program, students have various opportunities to earn college credit for verifiable, college-level learning.

Regardless of the number of traditional transfer credits and/or credits awarded for prior learning experiences, all students must complete Florida State College's 25 percent residency requirement and the specific requirements of the particular degree.
