Arts and Sciences
Your journey begins here. At Florida State College, you’ll explore your passions and broaden your horizons as you pursue the academic major that’s right for your future.
We’ll prepare you for a science-related position or a graduate program in the sciences with the bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences or our two technical certificates. We also offer the A.A. degree, the foundation to your bachelor’s degree that encompasses all general education requirements for your first two years of college. Upon completion, you can seamlessly transition to one of our bachelor’s degree programs. If your desired major isn’t offered at Florida State College, you can easily transfer your credits to a state university under Florida’s admission guarantee.
We offer the same classes as other state universities along with additional benefits the bigger schools can’t — smaller class sizes, quality professors teaching courses (as opposed to graduate students), and a focus on teaching rather than research.
