Jacksonville's history and cultural community shines with stand-out museums, boutique galleries and a plethora of performing arts venues. FSCJ's Artist Series serves as the area's major presenter of national and international touring attractions, showcasing everything from high-profile Broadway shows to diverse cultural programs from around the world.

Many settle in the Northeast Florida counties of Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns. With 1.7 million residents, the region offers endless experiences   with a number of natural parks and various attractions. The area continues to experience positive growth as more people discover a perfect work life balance,

The area features multiple world-class health care providers, Mayo Clinic, Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Florida Health, and Wolfson Children's Hospital, the only full-service tertiary hospital specifically for children in the region.

Located just about 3 miles away from our FSCJ South Campus location, outdoor shopping and dining has never been so accessible than at The St. Johns Town Center! With over 175 stores and 20+ eateries, you can be sure to find exactly what you are looking for, or enjoy yourself trying. If a day at the beach is more your vibe, you can catch some sun about 8 miles away at Jacksonville Beach!


Deerwood

Deerwood Campus

Nestled in heart of the Baymeadows area of Jacksonville, lies our chic FSCJ Deerwood Campus. Here, you will only need to walk a few feet to grab a bite to eat at our Deerwood Village Shopping Center for traditional and ethnic cuisine. Not to be outdone, travel about 3miles south and you will find The Avenues shopping mall or travel 3miles north to land in the Tinseltown area and experience great shopping and food or catch a flick at Cinemark XD Tinseltown!

Other attractions, not far from our North Campus are the shops at the River City Marketplace which also includes various restaurants to enjoy. The travel takes roughly 10 minutes from North Campus. If you would like to travel a little further, take time to visit Amelia Island, which is only 22 minutes from the Nassau Center. Nassau county is one of the fastest growing areas in Northeast Florida. It has a history of Spanish, French, British and American rule. Today it’s a popular holiday destination known for its luxury resorts, golf courses and numerous sandy beaches. Main Beach Park has sand dunes, a boardwalk and public sports and recreation facilities.

A short distance from our Kent Campus is Riverside. Riverside offers specialty coffee shops and vintage boutiques in the diverse Five Points district. Just 22 miles south on US-17 you will find a river town in Green Cove Springs known for its fishing and history. The Orange Park Mall has all of your favorite stores and only 11 miles from campus. Attend the annual Naval Air Station Air show at the Naval Air Station, a 15-min drive south of the Kent Campus.

Located about 13 miles from Kent Campus our Cecil Center houses the College’s Aviation and Commercial Vehicle Driving programs and serve residents of Jacksonville's Westside, Baldwin, Maxville, Orange Park and Middleburg.

Downtown Campus

Downtown Jacksonville is home to our Downtown Campus. It is known for its historic sites, great eateries, and a sports complex fit for all sport lovers. Nestled along 5.6 miles of riverfront and 3 miles of scenic Riverwalk, Downtown Jacksonville is as diverse as the people that live there. In the midst of revitalization, many new businesses have moved to the area. Minutes away from the historic Springfield area known for its large family style homes, historic San Marco with beautiful neighborhoods, and shopping boutiques and unique restaurants. For sport lovers, Downtown Jacksonville caters to football with a one of a kind NFL stadium equipped with cabanas and pools, for our beloved Jacksonville Jaguars, while also being home to teams in the sports of ECHL Ice Hockey, Minor League Baseball, ABA Basketball, and NAL Football.
