College Credit Courses
Prerequisite: AER 1457. This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and repair of todays vehicle variable assist and all-wheel steering systems with strong emphasis on manufacturers specifications. Performance skills include electronic diagnosis in determining repairs required to return vehicles steering systems to recommended specifications. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours, seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
