Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management

This program offers students the opportunity to enhance their placement in higher-level management and supervisory positions within the business community. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

This program prepares students for management and leadership roles in a range of organizational settings. Graduates will be familiar with all the major components and activities that make up the organization and how they work together for organizational success. Learn More.

 


Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences

The Biomedical Sciences Bachelor of Science program is a rigorous, hands-on laboratory based program with concentrations in biological sciences and biochemistry. Graduates will be prepared for a variety of science-related positions in pharmaceutics, medical manufacturing, clinical and environmental chemistry, laboratories, health departments, zoos and museums, as well as direct entry into analytical/research laboratories. Bachelor of Science in Financial Services (coming in Fall 2014)

This program prepares students for exciting careers in banking, insurance and real estate. The skills and knowledge gained through study in Financial Services ensure that graduates are competent in a variety of fields and have a well-rounded understanding of the major functional areas of business administration and financial services.

 


Division of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Associate in Arts Degree - Designed for students who plan to complete their freshman and sophomore years of college at Florida State College and then transfer as juniors to four-year colleges or universities. Students in this program primarily take general education requirements including English, mathematics, humanities, natural and physical sciences, and social environment courses, such as history and political science.

Division of Career Education (Careers and Continuing Education)

Associate in Science Degrees - Career and technical education programs designed to allow students to immediately pursue careers that require a college degree at the professional level. Students in these programs take at least 15 hours of general education courses, with the majority of their coursework taken in professional courses related to their major. Kent Campus also provides technical certificate programs.

We understand that there are as many ways to achieve educational goals as there are students! We encourage you to choose whatever approach will fit best with the other demands on your time and we will do whatever we can to help you succeed! Among our many options are evening or weekend classroom study, short-term courses and/or Internet instruction.

The Career Education Division also offers selected courses in continuing education. Continuing education assists you in keeping pace with the changing world, whether it is training to maintain a certification or licensure, to enhance or upgrade your skills for your current job or to retrain for another job. We offer a variety of programs and certifications all designed to help you succeed.

The mission of the Center on Economic and Financial Education is to educate young people primarily through well-prepared teachers so they are empowered to vest students with economic knowledge, and financial skills they will need in the 21st century.
