Program Overview

FSCJ Now offers CPR/BLS Certification courses. Courses are offered in partnership with the American Heart Association and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

This is a hands-on lab and will be offered in person (face-to-face) on Campus. It is important to follow all social distancing CDC guidelines while attending classes at FSCJ. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in the course, please tell one of the instructors when you arrive for the course. The instructor will work to accommodate your needs within the stated course completion requirements.

CCE 0654 - CPR/AED/BLS Certification - $69.00 

This course is for individuals seeking certification in CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS). Students will receive up-to-date training and instruction in the areas of basic CPR administration; choke relief; proper Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation; and the role of each in the chain of survival. After completing this course, students will receive a certification card to their FSCJ student email address from the American Heart Association. 

Enrollment Policy: Please be aware that this class might be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
