OSHA 30HR Safety Card

This 30-hour General Industry course is intended to provide a variety of training to people with some safety responsibility. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, value of safety and health, lockout/tagout procedures, machine guarding, ergonomics, fall protection, and safety and health programs. Students must attend all 30 instructional hours to satisfy OSHA training and certification requirements. An OSHA 30 card is processed for approval after student successfully completes this course.

Meet our Instructors 

Guy Bevers - 

Guy Bevers served in the U.S. Army for 5 years and is a native of Athens, Georgia. He currently works for the Department of Defense under the United States Marine Corps as the Occupational Safety and Health Specialist at Blount Island Command (MCSF-BI) He has earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Forestry from the University of Georgia. Mr. Bevers also holds a degree in Construction Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Guy is an authorized OSHA instructor for both the OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour General Industry and Construction Safety Course as well as the OSHA 7.5- Hour and 15 Hour Disaster Site Worker Course. He is a certified Red Cross Instructor for First Aid/ CPR, Blood Bourne Pathogens and AED. He has obtained his ASP Associate Safety Professional.  Mr. Bevers is also an active SGE (Special Government Employee) with OSHA. Mr. Bevers has taught at Florida State College at Jacksonville for the past 10 years.
