The IT Fundamentals program consists of the following classes:

CompTIA IT Fundamentals – CCE 0522

CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) is an introduction to basic IT knowledge and skills that helps professionals decide if a career in IT is right for them. It also helps organizations prepare non-technical teams for digital transformation. This material focuses on the knowledge and skills required to identify and explain the basics of computing, IT infrastructure, software development, and database use.

CompTIA Security+ - CCE 0523

CompTIA Security+ establishes the course knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. Security+ incorporates best practices in hands-on troubleshooting to ensure security professionals have practical security problem-solving skills. 


CompTIA A+ - CCE 0524

Students will be trained in the technical knowledge needed to take and pass the CompTIA A+ Exams 200-1001 and 220-1002. This course includes basic troubleshooting as well as hands on and simulation laboratory training, and students will learn to install, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and perform preventative maintenance on personal computers and digital devices.


CompTIA Network+ - CCE 0525

Students will be trained in the technical knowledge needed to take and pass the CompTIA Network + Exam. This course includes overview of computer components, preventative maintenance, memory storage device concepts, and basic troubleshooting as well as hands on and simulation laboratory training.
