For more than 50 years, FSCJ has been serving students here in northeast Florida and across the globe. Our diverse learning community is made up of students from more than 119 countries. From learning the English language, to studying abroad and the Global Scholars program, to the F-1 student visa process, FSCJ has the resources and services you need to support your academic pursuit. Languages and Societies


The Center for Cultures, Languages and Societies, inspired by the diversity and richness of FSCJ’s multiple communities, offers immersive experiences in languages, arts and cultures. Join the world “conversation” through fun and authentic peer-to-peer interaction, dynamic programs and inter-cultural dialogue.

The Center for International Education entails the following program areas: Global Scholars Distinction, Study Abroad, Study U.S.A. and Virtual Exchange and Co-Curricular International Learning Opportunities. Through our programming, we aspire to cultivate global mindedness and respect for cultural diversity.


English for Speakers
of Other Languages (ESOL)


The FSCJ ESOL Program is for non-native speakers of English to learn to speak, listen, read and write in English. In addition to these basic English language skills, students learn about U.S. culture, civics, history, digital literacy, life skills and career opportunity training at FSCJ.


Student Services


For students who would like to study in the U.S., FSCJ International Student Services is here to provide them and their families with the necessary support to help them apply to FSCJ and to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate for the F-1 student visa.
