Facials Specialty (C.C.)

The Facials Specialty Career Certificate (C.C.) provides a theoretical and practical hands-on approach to learning all aspects of facial specialty including facial treatments, sanitation/safety methods and procedures, facial makeup/application, hair removal and operation of skin care machines. This program is for those students seeking an esthetics certificate. A certificate of completion enables students to qualify for a state esthetics license. Day and evening classes start each fall, spring and summer based on interest.

Program Learning Outcomes

The Facials Specialty program requires 220 contact hours and can be completed in approximately four months (one semester). Approximate completion is four months.

The Facials Specialty Program is offered each term and is based on interest. Day classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Evening classes meet Monday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m.


Certifications/Licensing

After successfully completing the program, students will receive a certificate of completion. Students may register with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and be prepared to enter the workforce as Registered Facial Specialists.

Attendance for this program is state mandated, therefore, before you begin the application process, please ensure that you will be able to attend 100% of the course.
