Florida Law Enforcement Academy (W.C.)

Building Trust Through Service

Like a superhero, a law enforcement officer is there to serve and protect those in need. They have to be able to go from tough and strong to compassionate and caring depending on the situation. It takes an exceptional person with special skills to take on this high-demand profession. If you are up to the challenge, Florida State College at Jacksonville can supply the training. In addition, you’ll save money. Our tuition costs a small percentage of what you would pay at a for-profit school.

Based on the requirements of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, our Florida Law Enforcement Academy will cover subjects from evidence gathering, investigation and criminal law to traffic control, patrol procedures and weaponry training. You will be fully prepared for State certification exams and a career in law enforcement.

Interested candidates must complete both the College application and Law Enforcement Basic Recruiting Program Application.
